Ambassadors walked out of the menace of disability as the role models
Recently, The Hong Kong Arthritis & Rheumatism Foundation has organized the “ 2007 HKARF Ambassador Election”. Five HKARF ambassadors have been awarded. They are sufferers of rheumatic diseases, yet never give up the fight and continue treatment positively to take charge of their diseases. Their active participation in voluntary work contributed to their awards. The 2007 “Rheumatic Diseases Ambassadors” are as follows:
1. Chow Yuk Ha, 73, a patient with Degenerative Arthritis, Osteoarthritis
2. Ho Siu Mui, 49, a patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis
3. Liu Hoi Ting, 28, a patient with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis
4. Tsang Yiu Cheung, 57, a patient with Ankylosing Spondylitis
5. Lau Yin Hing, 60, a patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
